Bob Lefebvre began his career as Minnesota Milk’s Membership Director in March of 2000 and was named the association’s first Executive Director in March of 2001. Since that time, the association has grown in revenue and in value provided to members due to the strong dairy producer leadership he has served.

Bob earned his B.S. in Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota in 1991 and was a Humphrey Institute Policy Fellow in 2003-04. Bob currently serves on the Minnesota NRCS State Technical Committee, University of Minnesota CFANS Alumni Society Board of Directors and Minnesota Ag Water Quality Certification Advisory Committee. He served on the University of Minnesota Extension State Advisory Committee 2003-06 as well as other state advisory committees impacting Minnesota dairy producers.

Prior to coming to Minnesota Milk Bob held various positions in a farm supply cooperative including agronomy plant manager, energy manager and credit and receivables manager. He also spent a short time in Washington D.C. working for U.S. Congressman Vin Weber and was involved in several state and federal campaigns.

Bob grew up on a dairy farm 40 miles northwest of the Twin Cities where he learned to appreciate the hard work and strong morals and values exhibited by dairy producers. Bob and his wife Becky live in Buffalo, MN and they have two grown children. They are active in their community including their local church, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Rumor has it he is a good card player and despite his best effort, he is a terrible golfer and downhill skier.

Liz Purcell joined Minnesota Milk in January 2012 as the Office Manager handling the day-to-day operations for the association including our receptionist, book-keeper, and database manager.
